• Global Climate Change Website of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (NASA)
  They provide up to date data on climate change and well researched background information:
  • Arctic Sea Ice decreased by 38% since 1979

• Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (formerly the Department for Trade and Industry) is a good source for Governmet guidelines, regulations and policies....
• The Wind Speed Database: gives you the average windspeeds in your area (The Position of the Testmast would be NZ2190)
• The Renewable Energy Foundation is a registered charity encouraging the development of renewable energy and energy conservation whilst emphasizing that such development must be governed by the fundamental principles of sustainability.
  They publish the Renewable Energy Data files which give performance data of renewable electricity generators registered under the Renewables Obligation.
• The Sustainable Development Commission is the Government's independent watchdog on sustainable development. They have published a very informative document on wind energy in the UK
• The Northumberland and Newcastle Society use pressure of informed public opinion to protect vulnerable buildings, landscapes and townscapes and to enhance the quality of life in town and country.
